The rooms are plain but clean, and the shower and the rest of the room worked fine for our family. We found it a fair price for what was offered, and a handy spot for a couple of days skiing in Roccaraso, where prices are ridiculous. The place felt warm, and the owner kindly made us a late breakfast since we needed to be on the slopes by 8:00 a.m. Just don't expect a four-star hotel. The inn hasn't been open since 2020.

The owner's manner was the worst part for me. Antonio came across as rude, arrogant, presumptuous, and impolite. Breakfast was limited to either coffee or cappuccino, with anything else costing extra, so I can't recommend staying here. I had booked one night after seeing lots of positive reviews, but the price seemed inflated, like a four-star hotel rate. The room was small, the bathroom had no window, and the bidet left hardly any room to move.

There were six of us, but breakfast was just four croissants. The owner said he had stopped doing buffets because people took too much. The room itself was spotless. The only real drawback was how unfriendly the owner seemed to guests, just as many reviews had said.

The restaurant is on the same property, though its staff are separate from the B&B's management. We found the menu somewhat sophisticated, with top-quality ingredients, friendly and courteous service, and a reasonable bill for the meal. At the B&B, everything was immaculate and well cared for, and the quiet atmosphere made it relaxing. The rooms are simple but useful, with comfortable beds and a spacious, spotless bathroom. It's rare to find such kindness and attention to guests these days. Highly recommended.
