The woman refuses to return the money she charged, even though I cancelled the reservation well in advance. I paid in cash at the property rather than by POS, so the payment can't be traced, and she takes advantage of the good faith of people who pay that way. Cleaning isn't done as required by law, but only once a week.

The room had everything I needed, from radiators to air conditioning, and felt cozy. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back and recommend it to everyone. There are very few rooms like this in Italy.

The owner's kindness and how clean the place was would bring me back if I'm ever in this area again. The room was huge and elegant, especially for the setting, so it deserves a very positive review. Highly recommended.

FROM THE DUCHESS'S ROOMS: A reply to Mrs. Giuseppina Turchio's review. Completely false. It's a shame there are people like this in the world.
