The owning family gave great service, and the atmosphere was lovely. For a hotel stay, I'd ask about the two suites in the main house, since the standard rooms are less desirable. It’s also a perfect spot for an aperitivo in the sun.

The pasta-making school is the secret gem here. This was one of the most incredible farm-to-table B&Bs I’ve visited anywhere, with amazing chèvre, charcuterie, and prosecco. From the infinity pool, the views stretch over endless grape-filled valleys, with rolling vineyards all around.

The shuttle was good and the cocktails were good too, but the music could’ve been much better. We were told the owners, who usually run things, weren’t there that night, so maybe we picked the wrong time to come. There were 20 of us for a birthday party, and the “boss” at the entrance seemed annoyed and wasn’t welcoming at all. He charged €15, even for a 5-year-old girl. Such a shame, because the location is beautiful.

The Maragliana was a lovely surprise. The bare hills on New Year's Eve don't really show how beautiful the place is. We loved our stay, from the warm welcome and helpful, kind service to the clean, beautiful rooms and the quality of the dinners, including the New Year's Eve dinner. The quality for the price was very good, and I hope they keep it that way. Keep up the good work, and don't let your guard down. We'll definitely be back. 💪💪
