I tried to arrange a stay using a Wonderbox gift voucher, but after 15 days of emails they still couldn’t confirm a date for any weekend between February and March. About a week after my first message, I asked for check-in on February 13th and check-out on the 15th, and the gentleman replying to emails said there was no availability. I then asked which weekends might work, but another week passed without any alternative dates. I think there are serious management problems. The three phone numbers listed on the website didn’t seem to work. A fourth number I found on social media did answer, possibly the owner’s son. I explained that after two weeks I still just wanted to know what dates were available, and that getting no answer was absurd. He said he didn’t have the reservation list with him and that I could look for somewhere else anyway, because he didn’t want me, or, more specifically, any other Wonderbox customers. Terrible service.

We had a slightly odd first impression, but the room turned out to be simple and welcoming. The place is run entirely by the family, and the staff were helpful right from the start. We also had dinner at their restaurant, where the food was high quality, including the homemade pasta and desserts. Everyone was friendly and approachable, and they really try to make guests feel at home, like family. We stayed two nights and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and recharge. I hope to return.

What made the trip unforgettable was the whole family’s kindness, sensitivity, pride, honesty, care for guests, and generosity. Thank you for the hospitality, Katia and Lorenzo. I found this agriturismo through the Wonderbox package my children gave me. It covered dinner, an overnight stay, and breakfast for two, and we paid the same amount again for a very fair price. The place was easy to find and well connected, even though the village is rural, secluded, and quiet. There are four small apartments, all supplied with sheets and a few towels. It’s a good fit for people who appreciate simplicity and authenticity. The family-run kitchen was a highlight. Tireless Lorena served generous, flavorful food, including nettle ravioli that must take a lot of work, ravioli with walnuts and radicchio, rump steak, chicken and sausage, vegetables, and delicious tarts that were served at breakfast too.

The family-run restaurant has a really welcoming feel, and the food was excellent. The waiters were very helpful too. My partner and I are vegetarians, and they offered us a good range of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert. We’ll definitely be back!
