The room was lovely and newly renovated, with a balcony facing south. It makes a good base for hikes along the irrigation channels (Waal) and other trips into the surrounding mountains. Merano is close as well, and the half-hourly train gets you there easily and for free with the Vinschgau Card included in the room price. Heidi was genuinely kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, though I’d have preferred an espresso machine to filter coffee.

Our week’s holiday was wonderful from start to finish. It began with breakfast on our arrival day, which you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere, and kept being lovely right through the last hour. I wish there were a sixth star for the warmth, friendliness, and hospitality. Heidi, thank you so much. We hope you’ll keep the guesthouse open for vacationers like us for a long time. Stay just as you are! 😄

The view and the breakfast were standouts, especially the homemade bread and cake. Heidi was incredibly friendly and gave us lots of useful hiking tips. Our room was beautifully renovated and very comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. It’s a wonderful family-run B&B where we felt completely at home. We’ll certainly return. Highly recommended!

We spent two weeks here for our summer holiday. The owners were very friendly and helpful, with plenty of good advice for hikers. They also offer a bread delivery service.
