I stayed in this house for two weeks, and there were problems all over the place. The washing machine door wouldn't open, and both it and the balcony sink were worn out, dirty, and smelled awful. The kitchen hood didn't work, the shutter was broken, and the stove wasn't plugged in, so I had to use a lighter to get the burners going. The pots, cutlery, and plates were dirty and caked with grime, and there wasn't even a colander. There was no oven, just an electric stove like a toast warmer. A bees' nest in the bathroom meant the window couldn't be used. One bathroom's boiler was completely encrusted. In the other, the water at the manifold had been shut off; when I turned it on, it started leaking, so the shower couldn't be used. The electrical outlets were recessed into the wall and certainly didn't seem up to standard. The TV only got a few channels, with no Mediaset, for example. I was also without water for a day because of a plumbing problem. My parents stayed three nights and were mistreated over the phone after reporting some of these issues to the owners. I was asked for a tourist tax that hadn't been mentioned when booking. The pillows in the second bedroom were old, falling apart, and unusable. I wasn't given a receipt, only some papers to sign, and no copy of those.
