Villarose

The place was very nice, the directions we got beforehand were good, and the facilities were good too. But the many signs around the house made us uneasy: the kitchen and dining area were under video surveillance, which hadn't been mentioned. The booking said "shared kitchen," but we were asked to leave the kitchen and shared dining area because of the cameras. We weren't cooking, just wanted to eat our own food at the table, and nobody else was there. It left us feeling very uncomfortable and was really disappointing.

A beautiful property with stylish, tasteful furnishings and a slightly upscale feel. Rosanna was a very attentive host and even makes breakfast for guests on request. It's a good base for different excursions, and Castelbuono itself is lovely too. Rosanna has some great suggestions for exploring. Highly recommend!

The garden and terrace are lovely, and the whole place is beautifully kept. Inside, the villa just beyond Castelbuono has tasteful antique furnishings in both the shared spaces and bedrooms. My room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and a charming, well-appointed bathroom. The owner was warm and kind, and the directions and house rules were incredibly detailed, maybe even a bit too detailed 😂. Thanks for everything. We hope to come back soon.

It’s an easy three-minute drive to Castelbuono, with other nearby towns handy for exploring too. We had two restful days at this friendly new B&B, set among olive trees with a tidy garden around the house. The owner was welcoming and very helpful, including when serving the generous, excellent Italian breakfast, which you can request for an extra fee. Our room had terracotta floors, air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi and a lovely bathroom. The room and shared areas felt cozy, with genuine wooden furniture throughout. Thanks, we’d be glad to return.
