Palazzo Vittoli - Iside & Delia

The setting is lovely, and the bread and wine were good. One waiter was extremely friendly, too. The food was mixed for our group of four: two of us enjoyed the parmigiana, pollo, and veal, while the other two had a bad meal. The pasta with broccoli sauce didn’t work, and the lamb was especially disappointing, mostly bones and fat with tiny bits of meat, still bloody on the bone. It should never have been served. My lamb was just bones as well, with cold broccoli sauce that was inedible, even though I usually love broccoli. When the family member who used to run three Italian restaurants set his plate aside, a waitress tried to persuade him there was meat on it. That was unacceptable and untrue. We won’t return, since there’s plenty of excellent food nearby for less.
