Bed & Breackfast del ducato

The owner's son made us feel at home right away. He was warm, helpful, and speaks English and French. We had a spacious, clean room with a comfortable bed and pillow, plus enough room for a crib. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes and croissants as well as sweet and savory options. The B&B's lovely setting suits Castell'Arquato perfectly, and its location is ideal. We'll come back.

Eduardo was so attentive and warm, and prepared a varied breakfast for us. We also used the shared kitchen, where there was a fridge well stocked with water bottles, a stove, counter space, and a dining table. There weren't any dishes or pots, though. Our room had its own newly renovated bathroom, which we loved, and the decor and partly covered courtyard with parking impressed us too. Some rooms do have shared bathrooms. The village is lovely for walks through its little lanes, and there are a few restaurants with great views.

We had a great time and would definitely stay again if we're in the area. The staff deserve a top rating: they were incredibly patient and helpful, even with five children and a dog around. The property was clean, well cared for, and breakfast was generous.

We were there for just one night and got a very kind welcome. Everything was clean, and our four-legged companion was welcome too. Highly recommended!
