The terrace was a lovely place to sit and take in the scenery, and our room was clean and comfortable. Serena and the staff were kind and accommodating throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the hotel shuttle to the private beach and bar, especially since we didn't have our own transport. The menu changed daily and the food was great. With such breathtaking views of the surrounding area and a fantastic location, we couldn't have asked for more. We'd highly recommend staying at The Hermitage!

The views of the coast from the hotel and our terrace were amazing, and the main pool was large and very clean. Our room was spotless. Serena, the owner, and the rest of the staff were all kind and particularly helpful. We had a superb stay at the Hermitage and would recommend it to anyone considering a visit to the Castellabate area. Thanks to Serena and everyone, we'll be back.

The setting in the cilento National Park is amazing, and those spectacular views never get old. We've been coming for over twenty years and already look forward to staying again next year. Serena and her staff make sure you're warmly welcomed and well looked after, from the food to all the little details. The hotel shuttle to the private beach and Waikiki Beach Club is part of that care. It's a peaceful oasis with such wonderful Italian hospitality.

We visited at the end of May, just outside the season, and it was very quiet. The pool is a good size, with a separate children's pool and a water slide, and breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and very helpful, though their English was limited but okay. Our room wasn't disability friendly and there's no lift, though that wasn't a problem for us.

The room was on the small side, but the turret shower with its view up to the medieval town Castelabbate was fun. We came well before the season started and were still looked after nicely.
