Breakfast felt homely, with cake and marmalade made there, local honey and fruit, yoghurt, fresh bread, and cold cuts. Anna Rosa was kind and attentive, making sure we were enjoying it. Alfonsina and Anna Rosa run Villa Imperamare with real warmth and care, and the place is spotless, well maintained, and decorated in a light modern style. It's right at the beginning of the pedestrian street in Santa Maria di Castellabate, among small shops, cafés, bars, and ice cream parlours with a lovely local feel. Castellabate remains refreshingly Italian, without busloads of German or other foreign tourists. Parking is a minute away on foot, with a supermarket next door. The beach is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk through the beautiful village.

Breakfast and coffee were delicious, and the yard, with its trees and bright plants, felt cozy and restful. The B&B is close to groceries next door, about a five-minute walk from the beach, and there's plenty of street parking. The town is cute and welcoming. Ana Rosa and Alfonsina are lovely, delightful hosts. Inga the duck handles security, while Lorenzo, an old gentleman, is in charge of belly rubs, and only receives them. We had such a nice stay, we'll definitely return.

Anna Rossa and Alfonsina are two of the nicest people you'll meet in Italy, and they go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are excellent and immaculately clean. We had a lovely stay and hope to return one day. Best wishes, Colin.

The garden and outdoor seating are excellent, and I can highly recommend the incredible top-floor suite. The guest house is immaculate, with friendly, attentive hosts who were very helpful throughout our stay. For me the location gets five stars: it's beside a small supermarket at the end of a very busy village street. That may not suit anyone looking for complete peace and quiet.

The rooms are immaculate, and the courtyard garden is beautiful, complete with its resident duck. Alphonsina runs this family business and is about the friendliest person ever. Nothing is too much trouble, and you can tell they really care. Stay here, you won't regret it!
