Case Vacanze Gabry

The apartment was really dirty, and the host was very rude. Construction drilling nearby was the biggest problem. We were woken by it every single day, and it was loud even with the windows closed. To turn on the AC or heater, you have to use the house key. In a fire or rushed exit, having to find the key attached to an AC box to open the door would be very inconvenient. The towels were very old, and there were only two rolls of paper for six nights for two people. They charge a cleaning fee, but you still have to take out and sort the trash into about five separate bags yourself. I don't understand what the cleaning fee is for. The shower clogged during our stay, too.

Our experience with the host was upsetting. We followed the instructions to wash the dishes and take out the trash, but the host later described the apartment as very dirty and accused us of showing a 'lack of respect' in a negative Airbnb review. On our last night, the shower had a plumbing problem; we reported it and cleaned up ourselves, yet the host's account didn't match what happened. If you stay here, keep careful records. I would advise proceeding cautiously, since that review did not reflect our experience.

I came for a short holiday for my best friend's wedding. Gabriella, the lovely and extremely helpful landlord, provided a really spacious, cozy flat with a beautiful view. I'll definitely come back and recommend staying here!

There was constant drilling and construction noise all around the apartment. Inside, it felt small, old, and dark. The shower was so cramped I kept touching the curtain while washing.
