The host was kind and easy to reach whenever we needed something. He showed us around and welcomed us with local cookies and wine. We’d love to return. Thank you Mariano and Villa Mare e Monti :) Morning coffee with the sun coming over the hills was a dream. This peaceful villa sits at the foot of a mountain, with beautiful views, and the horses grazing nearby made the place feel almost magical. They came up to the fence and let us pet them. It’s a handy base for day trips in western Sicily, and a gorgeous sandy beach is just a five-minute drive away. There’s lots of room to relax, with loungers, benches and tables, plus two bathrooms, an outdoor kitchen, and a grill. In PL: Quiet, peace, and a breathtaking view. Set at the foot of the mountain, the villa makes a big impression. Morning coffee with that view felt like magic. The horses grazing nearby would come to the fence and let us pet them. It felt like a fairytale. It’s a good base for exploring the area, with a sandy beach five minutes away by car, plenty of space to relax, a barbecue, two bathrooms, and an outdoor kitchen. Everything you need. The host was very friendly, welcomed us with wine and cookies, and was always helpful. We’d love to come back!

The only little drawback for us was privacy while sleeping if you aren't travelling with family. There are comfortable sofa beds and one double bedroom with a wardrobe. Otherwise, this villa is thoughtfully furnished and very comfortable, with plenty of amenities inside and out. The owner pays attention to the details and is welcoming, kind, and considerate of guests' needs and schedules. Cooking is easy too, from a quick spaghetti meal to a barbecue, thanks to the large, lit outdoor grill with tables and chairs. It's on the outskirts, about five minutes from town, so you can get to the sea easily by car. You get the warm, sultry sea air and the cooler mountain air. The garden is beautiful and well kept, with loungers where you can lie out in the sun.

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely villa, split into two apartments. It’s in a quiet area and makes a great base for enjoying Castellammare. The host was very kind and helpful, and thoughtful while still giving us space.

There are comfortable places to relax and plenty of amenities for a pleasant holiday with good company. The staff were friendly and helpful. A villa well worth trying.
