Our host Rosario deserves a big thank you for making the week just perfect. We stayed at Chibedda Cesca in September 2023, in a three story apartment in the historic part of Castellammara del Golfo. Restaurants, the beautiful harbour, cultural architecture, bars and the beach are all just a few steps away, and we didn't find anything missing from the apartment during our week there. The small, cosy terrace on the third floor has a stunning bay view and is a lovely place to eat or enjoy a glass of Sicilian wine, which I recommend trying. There are two toilets, one on the first floor and one on the third. Be aware that there are lots of steps, so this probably isn't the right apartment if stairs are a problem for you. Castellammara has plenty to offer if you love Italian food, music, bars, boat trips or hiking in the nearby mountains. In September it wasn't too crowded with tourists.

We were welcomed warmly, and someone was always available during our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom was stocked with all the essentials. We had breakfast on the top floor terrace, looking out over the new marina. The three-story house is only steps from the main street and marina, so everything is within walking distance.

The standout is the little terrace overlooking the port, with a beautiful sea view. Francesca, the owner, welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished in a minimalist style and equipped for cooking, even with a microwave. It spans three levels, with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and terrace, right in the heart of Castellammare del Golfo near the port, the villa and Corso Garibaldi. I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend it to anyone planning a stay here. One small tip: watch out for the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), and check parking options with the owner or online. Everything else was perfect.
