Ammos Suite

The terrace was a highlight, with a breathtaking view across the port to Vesuvius. There are loungers plus a table and chairs, so it’s a nice place to sit or eat outside. Inside, it’s not just a room, but a bright, airy open plan apartment with a fitted kitchen, sitting area, bedroom, and bathroom. It was comfortable and spotless, and tea and coffee were provided. The location is close to the town center, restaurants, shops, and the station, handy for exploring the Amalfi Coast. The host was lovely, checked that we could find the apartment, came by to welcome us, and recommended a nearby restaurant that was excellent and reasonably priced compared with some others. We only had one night, though we’d have stayed longer if we had more time. One thing to consider is the stairs: there’s no lift and it’s on the top floor, about five floors up, which might be hard for anyone with health or mobility issues, especially with luggage. Parking was a bit confusing too. We left the car outside in the residents’ area, and the restaurant staff across the road said we might get a ticket. We were lucky and didn’t. Even with those issues, it was an amazing place to stay while touring the area, and I’d highly recommend it.
