A peaceful, pleasant place away from the town's bustle and traffic. It's an active convent, so the stay feels different from a mainstream hotel.

The setting is quiet and serene, with lots of space and a great view. My daughter loved the friendly nuns and didn't want to leave. They even took her to pick apricots that they grow there. It's a convent, so the atmosphere is different and it doesn't have the usual hotel setup. Two of the nuns speak English and are very friendly. The older nuns are traditional, curious, helpful, committed to their way of life, and go about their business. The beach and restaurants are nearby. Pompei is about 3 Miles away, Sorrento 10, Positano 15, Amalfi 17, and Naples 18. The drives are short and scenic.

Getting to the attractions was difficult. You have to walk along a very narrow sidewalk, then go down a lot of stairs to reach Castellamare, where there's a bus or boat. Of course, you have to climb all those stairs to get back. Sorrento seemed impossible to reach without a car. At checkout the hosts treated us as if we were thieves, which felt awful. There was an issue with my card: the money came out of my account, but their system showed that it hadn't worked. We ended up having to pay around 1000€ in cash.
