Renata, the owner's mother, was a real highlight: she was lovely, kind, and always available. We loved the suite at Dimora Minima, with its original terrazzo floors, high ceilings, striking furniture, kidney-shaped sofa, and beautiful artwork. It had more space and style than many homes. The two balconies face a street that's usually quiet. We did hear groups shouting late at night, though we never worked out where they came from. With the windows closed, which was easy in May's pleasant weather, it wasn't a problem. There is another balcony off the bathroom facing an interior courtyard, but you won't use that one. This boutique place is a gem, and the suite is well worth the upgrade.

We came from Greece and loved the artistic feel, comfort, and cleanliness of this hotel. It's close to all the historic monuments, and we'll definitely come back.

We stayed in the suite, and the rooms were just as pictured: huge, with a spacious bathroom, a great bed, and a large shower. It's quiet both day and night, and close to the centre. The building has a garage, which we reserved when booking; parking cost 10 euros each day. There are some stairs up to the first floor and no elevator. We loved the place and recommend it. Antonio was very kind and helpful.

Dimora Minima has set the bar high for every other place I've stayed in Sicily. The old building has been renovated to a really high standard without losing its character, and I'd give it 200% for that. It's central, very clean, spacious, and has excellent wifi and tv. I also loved the huge bedroom with a balcony and the lovely, roomy communal space.
