We found the room spotless, roomy, and very comfortable at Catania Sea Palace Hotel. Its spot right by the seafront road made it easy to take coastal walks and explore the city. We had a wonderful stay, and it’s a great choice for a visit to Catania. Highly recommended!

A four star hotel with no complimentary water, ironing board, or pool? What a joke. The building is old and run down, and its location is really ugly and inconvenient.

Room service was good, and they cleaned the room every day. The hotel is near the coast, with lots of food trucks and restaurants around, though it’s quite far from the city center. Breakfast was so-so, with a couple of choices, but everything, including the juice and bread, felt store-bought. It wasn’t worth it, especially with nice cafes nearby. Relaxing here was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The A/C barely worked, and there was no window in the room, so I couldn’t sleep or breathe. The staff didn’t help with the A/C. Make sure your room has a window beforehand.

The hotel is clean and smart, with rooms that are spot on and really friendly staff. It’s close to the beach, though a couple of miles from Catania centre, so walking into town takes about an hour or an Uber costs 20€. Worth it for sure.

Breakfast and service were good, but the room was a problem. It had no window, felt very stuffy, and got no natural light. On one day it wasn’t cleaned, and bugs in the bed bit all of us all over.
