The B&B is over a mozzarella factory, and there wasn’t a card machine for payment. The family did offer to drive us into town to get cash. The language barrier was difficult, though I feel it’s also our responsibility to learn some Italian. The older lady at the B&B was lovely and very accommodating. She seemed so caring that when we left, it felt like we were leaving our mum behind. It’s a great place to stay if you want to visit the caves.

It’s surrounded by greenery and just steps from the Castellana Caves. The location also makes it easy to get to other tourist spots like Polignano, Alberobello, and Monopoli.

The owner was really friendly and helpful, and we found the room very clean, spacious, and equipped with every comfort. We stayed from Saturday to Sunday, so there was no noise to disturb us from the dairy farm downstairs. It’s only steps from the Castellana Caves, and the location works well for visiting Polignano, Alberobello, and Monopoli nearby. The bar close by is excellent for breakfast and especially for a typical Salento aperitif. Highly recommended for family holidays.

Parking was convenient, and a very kind elderly lady lives next door. The location is excellent for visiting the caves. I’d recommend staying one night to see them.

The property was quiet, surrounded by greenery, and run by a family. Its location is a real advantage: the Castellana Caves are close, and the most beautiful towns to visit are practically 15 minutes away. The manager is an elderly woman who gets help from her two daughters. We had the pleasure of meeting Anita, one of them. She’s really nice, friendly, always smiling, and on top of things. Her mother is great too! There were four of us, two couples, and we had a F A B U L E weekend. I gave it 5 stars only because that’s the maximum, but 9 stars would have been fair!
