Kalidria Hotel & Thalasso SPA

We went in mid August as a group of five, and the restaurant manager made sure the two people with allergies and the two with dairy or gluten intolerance had a great meal every time. The food was excellent, and the spa was, too. The hotel was clean and luxurious, with helpful staff who sometimes did more than expected. The beach was well served, and transport there came frequently.

They even shifted dinner to the latest slot when we were getting back late and the kitchen was nearly closing. Service was always quick and polite, and they set a table for us outside for each dinner. Our individual beach transfer and timing needs were taken care of as well. Comfort, attentive staff, and the restaurant all made the hotel deserving of a high ranking.

There are two pools, a good restaurant, and access to the beach, with spacious rooms and attractive grounds. It feels like a resort with a great idea behind it, but the details let it down. Shower pressure is very weak, and the bathroom door swings in and takes up half the space. The room lighting doesn't work well, the bedding is just so-so, and there are no mosquito nets on the big balcony doors. There's a large mirror right beside the bed, so it's not really usable. Great concept, so-so execution.

The pool and spa were satisfying, and the rooms were comfortable and well kept. There's plenty of walking, but I didn't mind that. The food was amazing, and this is one of my best memories of the year. Thanks to Nadja for answering all my questions and making the place feel more welcoming. I'd recommend it.
