Agriturismo Sant'Andrea

The peaceful Apulian countryside was a lovely setting, and the sea was close and easy to reach. We spent a week here on vacation and felt welcomed, cared for, and right at home. Annamaria and her family were attentive whenever we needed them, while still giving us space. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and tidy. Thanks for such a restful, renewing stay.

Breakfast came with excellent homemade food. This is a relaxing, comfortable family-run place, kept in good condition and only a short walk from the Castellaneta marina.

The dogs were a highlight for me. They wandered around, enjoyed being petted, and napped; I never once heard the white dog bark during our week there 😂 We booked a room with breakfast. When the owners found out I was lactose intolerant, the cook made croissants without butter or lactose each morning, and prepared juice instead of milk. The staff and owners were so friendly, kind, and ready to help. The food was excellent, with portions that were just right. Once they heard we were musicians, the owners arranged for us to play during dinner for the other guests. Such an incredible surprise.

A calm spot surrounded by nature, with a playground for children and free parking on site. Breakfast was generous and really good. The owners and staff were all warm, helpful, and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious and tidy. I gave it four stars because we found some spiders in the room and the dogs were left outside. The room price seemed reasonable, though the agriturismo menu was a bit less so. Wi-Fi only worked in some rooms, and the refrigerator and air conditioning sometimes didn't work.
