We spent a week here and found the historic-center location wonderfully quiet. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, even bringing us clean towels midweek. Everything was perfect: the apartment was impeccably clean, the bedroom and bathroom were spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommended!!!

We were welcomed with cold bottles of water, which was much appreciated. B&B il Pendio is right in the center of the upper part of town. The space was well maintained and equipped, with a kitchen, a bedroom with three beds, and a bathroom. The furnishings are simple but practical.

We had no problems during our one-night stop on the Camino Matera, and the apartment was lovely, clean, spacious, and welcoming. We managed things ourselves because the owner doesn’t live in Castellaneta. The one disappointment was the included breakfast at the bar. Still, we had a great stay and would recommend it.

We stayed for four nights in this charming B&B. The two-room apartment was spacious, well equipped, and had every comfort. Excellent value for money.

A clean, welcoming place and great value for money. The five stars are well deserved.
