A very clean and comfortable place, full of that unmistakable Tuscany soul 😍 The family who owns it helped us a lot, and we want to thank them again for their hospitality ❤️❤️😍😍

The pool was a lovely escape on hot days, and we really enjoyed our five nights here. The apartment had what we needed, though a washing machine would have been useful. I understand only one of the four apartments has one, but there’s a laundromat near the top of the driveway, so it wasn’t far. We also stopped by the wine shop near the laundromat for a tasting and came away with wine and olive oil. Since this is a working property, some noise is to be expected. Its position makes it easy to reach the other Chianti towns, Siena, and places farther south. We liked walking into Castellina, even with the steep drive back up. The views are incredible, and Castellina felt like the right size for us compared with the other Chianti towns.

Head into town first to check in, and take a moment to enjoy the views. The stay itself was great, and the place is just outside town.
