The room was roomy, spotless, and quiet at night, with comfortable pillows and bed, plus towels and bathroom supplies. We also really enjoyed the terrace and the very good breakfast. The restaurant made us a lovely late dinner when we arrived, even though it was well past check-in time, and the staff were warm and helpful. The property sits beautifully in the landscape, with parking either outside or in the underground garage. Bianca the cat is very friendly too. Great value, and a really good stay.

Bianca the cat made a lovely host, and the team were so friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to help. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Godenano. The rooms and service were spectacular, and it's an easy walk or short drive into Castellina in Chianti.

The room was fresh and the service really nice. We had a balcony looking out across the vineyards, and the food and pool were good too. Everything was good, apart from the juice dispenser, which takes ages.

I'm back in the Netherlands now and already miss the place. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was generous, with homemade pies, pizza, cucumber, and tomatoes. Each coffee was made to order the Italian way, and every cup felt like a little work of art. We came for a Tuscan wedding and arrived around 23:30, so I only saw in the morning what a stunning spot I'd stayed in. The rooms and bathrooms were large. The doors use old-fashioned regular keys, which I wasn't used to after electronic card doors, but that added to the B&B's charm. We only visited the B&B and the wedding venue, but the area would be a good reason to come back.

The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was great, and it was surprisingly quiet despite being only about a 10-minute walk from the village center. But I left disappointed by the quality, especially since the place seems to aim higher. Our room was missing things that are basic in many B&Bs: no bidet, air conditioning, or wifi. We couldn't open the windows because there were no mosquito screens. The bathroom wasn't cleaned well, and there were dirty towels left by the previous guest. It also had very basic plastic fittings, and the complimentary toiletries amounted to a few shower gel samples. There's room to improve.
