After some long hikes in Matese National Park, we had a delicious dinner and breakfast here. We showed up with our camper and no booking, and even though the campsite area was closed, the team were kind and flexible and found room for us.

We had impeccable service when we came to Agriturismo La Falode with my family for Sunday lunch. The bill, though, was outrageous for an Agriturismo. We paid €45 per person for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, water, and house wine, without even ordering dessert.

I won't come back, given both the quality and the prices. The appetizers cost 16 euros, and the gnocchi were 14 euros for a pan, with no real scamorza in them. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were 16 euros and came out watery and soggy. Even the little girl's pennette cost 8 euros.

The caravan tour was a lovely, fun hour for the kids, with stops around different parts of the village and explanations about the animals. There are quad bike tours too. It's a huge place surrounded by nature, with a playground, tables, barbecue grills, and a restaurant. For lunch there are several choices, and we went to the quick service restaurant. The food was all good. 10 out of 10.

The location is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature. But on my fifth visit I found the whole menu had changed: the fixed option at €25/€30 per person is gone, replaced by à la carte. For two, the total was €70.00: €2 per person for the cover charge, €12 for a pumpkin and sausage first course with about 70 grams of pasta, and €14 for a second course of two small sausages, five baked potatoes, and two lettuce leaves, plus water and coffee.
