The historic centre of Castelluccio Superiore is just a short walk away, and Pollino National Park is easy to explore from here. A lovely hotel, with good-quality food too.

We had a chance to make our own pizzas, with Massimo’s father showing us how. The food was delicious, and many meals used herbs and vegetables grown nearby. Massimo also walked us through the herbs growing at the hotel, and we got to try fresh strawberries. He was happy to share tips about the area, including hiking routes and places to see around the village, like the little museum studying plants as natural medicine. I was here for a yoga retreat, and the setting among nature worked perfectly. Beautiful views and such warm hospitality. Thank you!

The food was some of the tastiest, and the National Park is close by. We came for a yoga retreat, and the peaceful surroundings and roomy terrace with its spectacular view made it really special. I’ve never had a hotel view this stunning. Massimo helped with every request and was even more hospitable than we expected. We’ll be back 🙏

The cosy rooms and splendid food were lovely, but it was the care that made those five days unforgettable. Massimo gave our yoga retreat the special attention it needed, and we felt like part of the family. The views were awesome too. Thanks so much, we’re coming back in September!

The fresh, local food is handmade and really yummy. It’s a family-run place, and everyone welcomes and treats you like one of their own. The hotel sits in a scenic spot close to nature, with a stunning view.
