Dimora Oru

A wonderful gem in Lecce. We loved the setting and room, and had pastries for breakfast that were amazing. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the pool in the morning sun. We hope we get to visit again!

Cristiano was a great host, thoughtful and full of useful advice. We found the renovated Masseria comfortable and relaxing, and design lovers should appreciate it. It’s in a very quiet area just outside the city centre. We spent four days at Dimora Oru and plan to return in summer.

We booked three nights but left after the first because we didn’t want to end our trip at this very bad B&B. At 300€ a night, there are many better and cheaper places in Puglia. The surroundings and views were awful, nothing like the photos, and breakfast was poor: refilled water, supermarket juice, and a rotten lemon. The garden was neglected, and even the parasols were very dirty. It was hard to communicate because the host didn’t speak English at all. Even arranging the appointment time became complicated. Christiano and his family were dishonest and even lied to us. If you want a nice place for a holiday, don’t book Dimora Oru.

We spent a week here in August 2022, and what a beautiful, chic boutique hotel it is. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were divine, and the location is ideal. We’ll recommend it to friends and family and hope to stay again.
