B&B Belvedere Castelluccio Valmaggiore

The room had no air conditioning or even a fan. When I arrived for my overnight stay, nobody came to greet me, and the door was open with the keys left in the lock. After I mentioned a few things that needed attention, all I saw was incompetent management and total arrogance.

Everything was clean and in order, just perfect. I was only passing through for one night, but the lady and her staff were so welcoming. Thank you, and I hope I can come back to your area.

We picked the room with a balcony, and the view across the surrounding hills was stunning. There was a really authentic feel to the place, with locals strolling by and a goat herder heading into the fields with his herd. The apartment was beautiful and clean, with air conditioning, check-in was easy, and the owner was friendly.

At Antichi sapori we had dinner that we'd gladly return for, both for the quality of the products and the price. The owners there are extremely good people who do their work with love. Mr. Michele and his wife welcomed us at the B&B with so much kindness and helpfulness, and made us feel like family. They also arranged an extraordinary guided tour of the area.
