Castelnovo Resort

A nice place.

On paper, this seemed like an excellent place, but weekend music that went on late made the night miserable. They do warn you in advance, and maybe earplugs would help, but I never expected sleeping to be so hard until 2 a.m. I’d suggest the managers choose what they want to be, though I’m nobody to give advice: a hotel or a nightclub.

We came back for a second year and booked two rooms in the center of Castelnovo nei Monti. Each had a very spacious double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, washing machine, and drying rack. There was also a kitchen and living area with a big table and sofa bed, plus televisions in both the bedroom and the kitchen/living room. The kitchen had a dishwasher, refrigerator, and oven. Everything was very clean. Guests with disabilities can also get around using the elevator and can request accessible rooms. The staff were very friendly. You can get aperitifs and breakfast at the bar downstairs.

The ground floor has a lovely bar, where I tried both breakfast and aperitivo. My apartment was spacious, very clean, and furnished with care and good taste. I was only there for one night, but had a great stay and would come back. The bar’s noise and loud music could bother some people, though.
