We found the restaurant by chance a few years back, and we still remember Gianni and Signora’s cappelletti in capon broth with real fondness. The welcome was as warm and homey as it gets. They treated us like parents would, back when we were young. We love food, and some dishes leave emotions that last. Thank you!

We had three perfect days in a peaceful place, and the rooms had everything we needed. Ms. Anna is wonderful, as is the rest of the staff. The food was delicious, and the desserts were so good they should be illegal! The Hedgehog and apple pie were especially memorable. Thanks to all the staff, Cristina and Norberto.

Breakfast was excellent, and Giovanni and Anna were kind and always ready to help. The inn feels welcoming and well cared for, so it’s easy to settle in straight away. Its location is handy for getting to the center of Castelnuovo, and the view from the rooms is extraordinary. You can see a slope of the Pietra di Bismantova, an enchanting, legendary landmark in the Reggio Emilia Apennines! 🤩
