The house looked well maintained, but staying there was unbearable because of the owner. She never gave back our two-month rental deposit and has stopped answering calls and emails. The fireplace didn't work, and the laundry room was filthy, even though you could only enter it with her permission. She had promised it would be properly cleaned before we arrived, but the house was dirty when we got there. The owner is known around the village for delinquent payments. Avoid this place. Finding a home in the area from out of town is hard enough without this huge inconvenience.

We felt at ease here. It's Tuscany without unnecessary frills, with a charming, rustic feel and a very friendly owner. The place is completely quiet when all the guests respect that.
