The reception staff were shockingly rude, and the place felt far below a four-star stay. We booked through Booking but got no check-in instructions. When we arrived at 11:45 PM, there was no notice that reception was in another building. Staff were outside smoking, and the head of reception yelled at me, a female guest, for stopping briefly by the entrance and threatened not to check us in. The hotel is old, the heating was poor, and the staff were unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend it.

We were only passing through, but found the hotel really comfortable and in a great area. They also let you stay with a pet for a small fee, which was a big plus. Stella & Amedeo, the two receptionists I met on arrival, welcomed us with big smiles and took great care of us. They were so helpful. Thank you!

We ate at Il Pirlar, the hotel restaurant, and it was fantastic, with good quality food at reasonable prices. The restaurant staff made every day of our holiday feel special, so a big thank you to them. The hotel is in the quieter part of the complex, with excellent rooms at Hotel Active and a great selection of pools. It gets busier at weekends, so midweek was especially nice. There's a shuttle to Peschiera del Garda every day, running regularly, and the trip takes just 10 minutes. Thank you x David & Gillian

The shuttle bus was quick and very good, but when it wasn't running we had to walk along the highway, which wasn't easy. In our room, ants were coming out of the wall. We called the office and were blamed because we'd left the window open, then told we'd have to pay an extra £30 for another room. We asked reception to send someone to check the ants, but nobody came. Check-in was also quite late, at 15:00.

The breakfast buffet was nice, and the wellness area was okay. The hotel is a bit old, as is often the case in Italy, but it's in good shape. What bothered me in the room was the missing shower curtain, which left half of the huge bathroom wet. Finding the reception, hotel and pool was confusing, and we had no WiFi in our room.
