Albergo Corte Malaspina

I spent two nights here and enjoyed the stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast was great and the staff were wonderful. There’s also a very good restaurant within walking distance.

Breakfast was incredible, and the people were lovely. The setting is beautiful and close enough to the lake. A couple of small restaurants are nearby, though you’ll need a taxi or car to get around. We loved being a little way from the bustle of Verona city.

The family hotel has pleasant rooms and friendly staff, and the shaded parking is a real plus. It’s also close to nice surroundings and tourist attractions. That’s where the positives end for me. Nobody here speaks English, which seemed very strange in such a touristy area. The air conditioning was so weak the room became a sauna at 30 degrees. The staff switched it off as soon as we left the room and again in the morning, which didn’t help. Cleaning wasn’t very good, and our things had been moved. A loud device on the outside wall kept switching on at night and waking me up. My wife sleeps heavily, so it didn’t wake her.

The breakfast room was beautiful, and on a sunny day we ate out on the terrace. Breakfast was amazing, made with love, and the staff were great. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. I loved its sweet interior design, and we were very happy with the hotel and its good price. It’s a lovely little hotel in a quiet village a few kilometers from Garda, Lazise and Peschiera, with vineyards and other beautiful scenery nearby. I really enjoy staying at small hotels where you can relax on holiday. This is one of the best hotels I’ve been to in Italy, and if we come back to Lake Garda, we’ll return here.
