B&B Da Miriam

Miriam even let us use a small fridge, and the homemade yogurt at breakfast was delicious. We stayed for a long weekend and were welcomed with a warm smile by the owner. The room was spotless, and the location was convenient, close to Lazise.

Miriam and Gianni, thank you for making us feel so welcome. We’re Bruna and Giuseppe from Rome, and we stayed with you on July 8-9 for Giuseppe’s birthday. Those two days together felt as if we’d known each other forever, and your thoughtfulness toward us was striking. Your old, one-of-a-kind house has a peaceful feeling, like time has stopped. Coming from a crowded, stressful city, we really needed that quiet, and we found it with you. And a special cuddle for wonderful CANNELLA. She’s not just a lovely dog, she’s a special creature. Miriam was kind and cheerful throughout my two-night stay at the end of July 2023. She was helpful without being intrusive, and when I needed to shift both my arrival and departure by a day a few weeks beforehand, she extended the stay without a penalty or extra charge. Breakfast was plentiful and made to order from a form filled in the day before. Her cakes were especially good, so I recommend ordering a slice. The room was spacious, spotless, and well equipped with a TV, extra blankets, air conditioning, mosquito nets, and a little water for the night. The small bathroom was also very clean and practical. It sits just outside the bedroom, connected by a curtained antechamber for privacy, with a separate door so we could come back late without disturbing other guests. There was reserved parking right outside in the courtyard. I was there to visit Gardaland and Movieland, both about 10 minutes away. The surroundings were very peaceful, with crickets and a light breeze in the evening. Guests can also use a small sitting room with a sofa, TV, books, kettle, tea bags, and a very useful fridge. The breakfast room was charming and always clean. There was also a white dog, Cannella, who was affectionate, quiet, and well behaved. She was happy to be petted and stayed out of the guest common areas, waiting by the door. If you like dogs, that’s a nice surprise. If you don’t, she won’t come up to you unless you approach her. Everything was wonderful, and I’d stay here again if I’m back in the area.

The hospitality and services were top-notch. It’s a peaceful spot with a handy base for Verona, the parks, the lake, and the spa. Everything was excellent.
