Gardaland Hotel

This hotel was a complete disaster. The rooms felt like old summer camps, and drinks were overpriced. At the pool, they charged for everything, including towels. You’re required to wear a swimming cap, and it costs 7.5 Euro. The guy at the front desk who said he was the manager couldn’t do anything. Gardaland itself was a really poor amusement park, like a super cheap version of disneyland. Don’t bother booking here.

We left deeply disappointed by the service, poor communication, and all the restrictions and extra charges. There were constant surprises with fees. Late check-out cost extra, €20, €40, or €60 depending on how much more time you wanted, and we only learned on arrival that swimming caps were mandatory and had to be bought separately. The concierge rarely gave us clear answers when we asked questions, usually telling us to check the amusement park’s website ourselves. At arrival, the shuttle driver dropped us at the amusement park instead of the hotel. When we asked how to reach the hotel, he said we’d have to walk about 30 minutes with our luggage and small child. Later we found out we could simply transfer to another shuttle. Although the hotel was nearly empty, we still couldn’t check in before 3 PM and had to wait. We also went to the restaurant at 2 PM, and because it closes at 2:30 PM, the staff made it clear we’d arrived at an inconvenient time and they were getting ready to close. This stay fell far short of what we expected.

We loved Gardaland hotel! It was our first visit and turned into a perfect family holiday. My toddlers, my grandfather, and I had a wonderful five days there.

If you're going to Gardaland, this hotel is a must. They have good deals that include free Gardaland tickets. The rooms are spacious and really nice, with great bathrooms and cozy beds. There was food to suit everyone, and we enjoyed it. Parking is free, and I think the free shuttle to Gardaland runs every 30 minutes. It was worth the price.
