The host didn’t turn on the AC before we arrived, and it couldn’t cool the place down. Getting to the rooms was difficult too. A narrow, circular metal staircase leads to the second-floor entrance, which made carrying our suitcases up really hard. The host doesn’t speak English.

We called the owner about an hour before arriving, and everything was ready when we got there. The owners were very friendly, and the house is in a quiet neighborhood. Pets are welcome for an extra fee, 15 EUR if I remember correctly. With bigger dogs, it’s better to book a ground-floor room. Gardaland is about 5 minutes away and Lake Garda about 10 minutes.
