The quiet and the views made this week feel like paradise. From the kitchen you can look out at the Sciliar, and the bedroom faces Sassolungo and Sassopiatto. The apartment has everything you need and sits right by one of the many Alpe di Siusi trails, about a 15-20 minute walk from Compaccio. Highly recommend it.

We felt right at home and would happily return. The hosts were warm and helpful, with good suggestions for excursions, and having bread delivered was really convenient. It’s a lovely spot for a quiet, relaxing break, with magnificent mountain views 😀.

The balcony at Home 2 looks out toward Compatsch and Schlern / Rosszahne, and the apartments were the quietest I’ve stayed in during all my years visiting this area. Both homes have lovely views of places I already knew from earlier trips. Fresh rolls can be ordered and are left at the door in the morning. Home 1 has an open kitchen in the living room and a separate bedroom. There are double and single sofa beds in the living room, plus another single sofa bed in the bedroom. Home 2 instead has a separate kitchen with a four-burner hob, large fridge, freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. Its living and sleeping area has a TV with satellite reception, a roomy double bed, a sofa bed and plenty of closet space. The bathrooms in both homes are usable but show their age. Home 2’s bathroom has a shower, fixed sink, toilet and bidet, and could be a little larger, though it works for two people. Home 1 has a shower, fixed sink, bathtub and toilet, with no separate second toilet. In theory, more than four people could stay in Home 1, but there wouldn’t be much privacy. A family might manage by having the parents sleep in the living room. Given the quiet setting and layout, I’d say the apartment suits couples without children and anyone looking for peace and quiet.

You can set off from the house for hiking, cross-country skiing or downhill skiing. It’s peaceful, the views are stunning, and the place is well equipped with everything you need.
