Artnatur Dolomites

The food was excellent, and the staff were so kind. We also loved the spa and pool area. There’s a skibus right outside the hotel that goes straight to the lifts, and the underground garages are very good. We hope to come back next year.

We loved our afternoons in the sauna and had a great view from our beautiful room. The food was another highlight, both breakfast and dinner were incredible. My friend and I spent two nights at Artnatur Dolomites, and we found the service wonderful. The ladies at reception were super helpful, and the restaurant wait staff were very kind and always joking around. We’d highly recommend it.

The location and scenery are beautiful, and we found the rooms clean, comfortable and spacious enough for a family. The spa was lovely. The outdoor pool isn’t heated, but swimming in it on a warm day was not too bad. We also really enjoyed the food: dinner brought sophisticated dishes that were consistently tasty. We spent six nights at Artnatur with friends and our children. The mixed messages about families were difficult. The website gave us the impression that this was a family friendly hotel, but once we arrived, requests for a different menu for the children or for them to use the playroom in the morning or after dinner seemed like an inconvenience. We were also reminded that children shouldn’t “play”, swim or be loud in the indoor pool. That left us feeling very uncomfortable, especially since the outdoor pool was very cold for the kids. I understand that children playing and swimming can make the pool less relaxing for guests without children. Still, management should decide how it wants to approach families. It might be more honest to advertise the hotel as adults only.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, and its facilities are fine, but the stay disappointed me. The meals dragged on and didn’t satisfy, and I don’t understand why basic things that should be included cost extra. Service and management came across as impersonal, with little effort to make guests feel looked after. The approach felt rigid, with no flexibility or goodwill when circumstances changed. Communication was confusing too, since everything seemed to have to go through BluHotels, the chain that owns the property. It felt bureaucratic instead of personal. For the prices, I expected much more warmth and professionalism. At the moment, it feels like business comes before hospitality.
