Hotel COSMEA Dolomites

The spa was glorious, with a sauna, steam room, and ice, and there's also a nice rooftop spot to have a drink. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean when we arrived. The cleaners did an excellent job. The hotel's kitchen was fantastic, with great breakfasts and dinners. It's a superb location, a one minute walk from the town center and near several chairlifts and restaurants. The staff and facilities were amazing, and someone friendly and knowledgeable about the mountains was always at reception.

The room was large and beautifully decorated, and everything felt brand new. Breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Cosmea. The spa has a steam room, sauna, Turkish hot tub, and quiet areas with water beds. It's a three minute walk to the ropeway and five minutes to the town center.

I hadn't planned to leave a negative review, but I want to describe what happened. I kept a medication called Relaxon, which contains chlorzoxazone and which I take every day, in my room. At some point during my stay it was no longer there. Losing an important medicine caused me a lot of stress. This type of medication isn't available in Europe, so I struggled until I got back to my home country. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend the hotel. If you do stay there, keep personal belongings and important medication somewhere safe and secure.

We appreciated all the hanging space and the many hangers, which came in handy for our four day, three night visit. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable, with wooden finishes and a spacious bathroom where the bathtub was separate from the shower. The family managers welcomed us warmly. Breakfast was decent, with bread, tea, fruit, pastries, and cold cuts to choose from. Hotel COSMEA is within walking distance of the gondolas to Alpe di Siusi and Seceda, and they provide the val gardena guest pass for public transport. We'd come back if we visit Ortisei again!
