David looked after us so attentively, and the owners were wonderfully hospitable. We loved the dinners and found ourselves looking forward to them each day. Breakfast, snacks, and the wellness area were just as impressive. We're so glad we found this lovely hotel in a charming Südtirol village, and would happily recommend it.

The restaurant was a highlight, with a breakfast buffet and tasty regional dishes at dinner, and they even provided hiking poles. The location is peaceful, away from the busy part of town, with little night noise and easy walks right by the cow pastures. Free bus passes made getting to the Seceda and Alpe de Siusi lifts easy without a car. Staff were very welcoming. We were disappointed with our room's outlook. The lower-priced rooms don't have the views shown on the website, and our narrow balcony faced a gravel parking garage roof and neighboring rooftops. Views from the room and deck matter a lot to us, so that was unfortunate.

The food was great, and the SPA was really nice. Everything around the stay worked well too, including the buses being on time and the ski operators being helpful. I spent five days here in January 2024, and the service was more than perfect. Everyone was smiling, kind, polite, and gentle. People in Alto Adige really know how to look after tourists. Compared with Val D'Aosta, there was no contest. Thanks to everyone who hosted us with such care and kindness.

We loved our stay at hotel castel and would gladly come back. The room was spacious and clean, with a large balcony. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and dinner was amazing, with five courses. We also really enjoyed the spa and the rooftop solarium. Highly recommend it.
