The mountain views and lovely rooms and facilities made a great impression, and the staff were so friendly. The food was excellent, too. It’s a quiet, somewhat remote spot, but a convenient shuttle and local buses get you downtown in about 15 minutes. We’d definitely come back.

That birthday cake the family baked for us was such a sweet surprise and made our week even more memorable. They were warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about running the hotel. We came as six people for a week in the Dolomites. The rooms were roomy and spotless, and the beds felt just like home, especially welcome after long days outdoors. The sauna was a lovely way to relax, and the village is beautiful. Food was a real highlight: breakfast had a great range of high-quality options, and each evening brought a different three-course menu with several choices. The regional ingredients and creative combinations were beautifully prepared and delicious. The shuttle or bus made getting to the ski lifts easy. We had an amazing week and would happily return next year. Highly recommend it.

Go hungry and leave yourself time for dinner here. You need a reservation, and the menu is set for the day, but the choices and the food were grand. The service was fantastic, and it was a very grand meal for such a small village. A great way to end the day.

The ski lockers were a must, and the P family looked after every little thing, including laundry and other odds and ends, throughout our trip. They made us feel welcome from check-in and drove us to and from Ortisei. Dinner was a lovely farm-sourced multi-course meal, with cocktails and wine at such affordable prices. Breakfast was perfect each morning, with fresh, natural ingredients and even a fruit juicer. Best stay we’ve ever had. I’ll be dreaming about it for years and can’t wait to come back in summer.
