The breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace, but there was very little of it. The staff were terribly unkind and unprofessional. It took us several minutes to reach the B&B, then we waited outside the door for 30 minutes without any explanation.

We had a long weekend in Castelsardo and couldn't have picked a better place. Lu Polciu e Calarina sits inside the castle, next to the cathedral, so it lets you discover hidden corners you might otherwise miss and come to love. Stefania keeps and runs it with great care, and she's a wonderful person. The rooms are inside the castle's historic walls, which keep them very cool. You can book a sea-view room, one with a sea view and balcony, or a room without a sea view, with different prices for each. The sheets and bathrooms were clean, Wi-Fi was free, and breakfast was generous, with Italian and continental options, served on a fantastic veranda by the sea. I'd recommend visiting Stefania and her B&B. How much would you pay to feel at home? Lu Polciu e Calarina is priceless.

Stefania has kept the old castle style while bringing in modern comforts, and the rooms are clean and tidy. We had a traditional Italian breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea. Highly recommended, especially for the kindness and helpfulness.
