It’s a small residence in a quiet, pleasant spot, with a well-equipped apartment. A good place to enjoy a stay in Lu Bagnu.

This could be a nice place if it were looked after and maintained, but I wouldn’t come back. We had ants and other insects and had to buy insecticide. On arrival, the bathroom sink was clogged and there was no hot water, which happened several times. We also had to buy pillows because the ones provided were, to put it mildly, very dirty. There were other problems during our 10-day stay too.

The apartment is really lovely, and the recent renovation was done very well. There’s a sea-view terrace in a quiet setting, plus a small, welcoming pool that’s perfect for a short but intense bit of relaxation. The only downside, though it doesn’t really affect my rating, is the garages: because of the height difference from the street, many cars can hardly get in. One more positive, the accommodation staff were friendly, cheerful, and professional.

We stayed in August 2018, my husband, our two children, and me. The apartment was comfortable and had a dishwasher and microwave, with a washing machine in the shared area. The small pool was great for a quick dip. The garage is cramped and awkward for a family car, and with no air conditioning, ceiling fans in the bedroom and sleeping area would help. The sea is an easy 10-minute walk. Lu Bagnu has everything, including a pharmacy, restaurants, and supermarkets, and Castelsardo is definitely worth visiting.
