The setting is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The staff were attentive and flexible, and there are some vegan and gluten-free choices. Our room felt quite new and was clean, with a big, well-equipped bathroom.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. The owner was kind and helpful, and the restaurant served generous, very good meals at fair prices, with real care given to the details. The place was quiet, well kept, clean, and spacious, with a view of Rocca Calascio. The little bar was also very nice and had a good selection.

The tagliata was really excellent. Good food, and the prices were fair.

I live in town and used to stop by for breakfast sometimes. By 10:30 there were no croissants left. Once the lady said she was making some, but when I came back half an hour later they still weren't ready. Another morning I asked for one and the barista wouldn't give it to me. I got really angry. It's a shame the place is closed now.

We found this restaurant open on our first evening in Abruzzo because some better-known places were closed that day. Lucky for us, the food was wonderful and there was plenty of it. The service was quick and friendly, and the setting was very simple. If you enjoy traditional food that's simple and cooked well, this is the place for you, and for me too.
