Risorgimento Milan Center

We really enjoyed our stay in Milan. The hotel was in a great spot, and the atmosphere was lovely. Our room was roomy, comfortable, and especially clean, with everything kept in good shape. It felt easy to relax there. The timing was the one drawback: check-in at 3:00 PM felt late, while checkout at 10:00 AM was very early. A little more flexibility would have helped. Otherwise, we were very happy and would definitely recommend it.

We had a really bad stay here. The first room they showed us was dirty and clearly not ready, but they still handed us the keys and said we could leave our bags there. It wasn't the room we'd booked. The second was wrong too, and already had other guests' luggage in it. The third was better, but it still looked different from the listing photos and was dirty and untidy. We raised the problems with the property manager, who was very rude and spoke to us disrespectfully. She said she was “doing us a favor” by letting us leave our luggage, even though luggage storage was listed as included. Then at checkout, at 10:00 a.m., they wouldn't let us leave our bags there at all, which went against what the listing said. When we arrived, staff photographed our ID cards and sent the pictures to the manager on WhatsApp. That left us seriously concerned about how our personal identification was handled. Between that, the misleading information, the lack of cleanliness, and the unprofessional, rude treatment, I wouldn't recommend this property.

The apartment had a lovely mix of old Italian character and modern convenience, with nearly 5-meter ceilings and beautiful interior design. There was a large living room and a fully stocked kitchen, plus a bedroom with a beautiful bathroom, a big shower, and a bathtub. Francisco showed us to our room and gave us a quick tour of useful spots in the neighborhood. The room and service were exceptional. It was also a handy base without feeling too touristy, at least to us. A big supermarket was just a 2-minute walk away, the Duomo and general city center were an easy 15-minute walk, and the central station was a 10-minute tram ride. For what we paid, I'd definitely recommend staying here when visiting Milano.

The service was lovely, and the location worked really well. The room was modern and very clean, though a little small. We could hear noise from the neighboring apartment more than we'd have liked, so for a 1-2 night stay it depends on whether you get quiet neighbors. The bathroom also didn't have a bidet, which you'd usually expect in Italy. There are nice breakfast places nearby. A convenient underground car park is just around the corner, but it costs a bit, €24 per day.
