We slept so peacefully here, and breakfast was amazingly generous. The orchard setting is beautiful, with all sorts of rescued animals around.

Being woken by a rooster at 5 a.m. should really be mentioned before booking. The place felt more like a shelter, albeit one that welcomes pets, than a B&B, hotel, or apartment, and the furnishings were old and dated. I don't question the owners' kindness or dedication, but the five-star ratings elsewhere seem unrealistic to me. Breakfast was grilled sandwiches with reheated raw ham, and tea towels were draped over the buffet. I can't understand how this sort of situation exists. Maybe it would work best as a pet boarding facility.

We booked three nights with half-board for me, my wife, and our two children. The dinner on our first night surprised us, both for the quality and the generous amount of delicious food, all locally produced. The estate is very rustic and surrounded by greenery, with a real sense of peace and quiet. I'm writing after just that first day, and we'll see how the next two go 😁😙👋🏼

I never got to see Tenuta Venezia because I had to cancel my April booking. Even though I cancelled just three days before we were due to arrive, the owner was kind about it and didn't ask for a deposit in the first place. I'd recommend him for that kindness.

The silence made it easy to sleep, and in summer it feels cooler here than indoors, hurray! It's a welcoming place in nature, with happy animals that the owners look after meticulously. The breakfast is fantastic.
