Agriturismo Podere Diamante

We came between Christmas and New Year’s in cold, rainy weather, but the room was well insulated and lovely and warm. It was small, but cozy, and a great escape from stressful city life. We stayed for 2 nights. The restaurant serves very good, tasty meals made with fresh local ingredients. Don’t expect a Michelin meal, but I can recommend all the dishes. We tried different starters, primi, and secondi each day. Service was a bit slow, unfortunately because of tragic circumstances: the father and husband of the family running the farm passed away just before Christmas.

The room was clean and cozy, with good a/c and nice views. It’s not super modern, but being able to wander through the vineyard made up for that. The hospitality made us feel at home. The food was fresh, local, amazing, and well worth the price, even though it wasn’t cheap. Their suggestions for places to visit were amazing too, and the balsamic oil was the best I’ve ever tried. Really recommended!

I’m writing only about the restaurant at Podere Diamante 1884. We first came two years ago and fell in love with the place then. We returned this year with high expectations and weren’t disappointed. The team is still so welcoming, the view is just as lovely, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the homemade trio of Tortellini. We had a beautiful evening and will definitely come back next time. Grazie!

We ate at the farm restaurant every night and just couldn’t get enough. The food was amazing, truly fresh and gourmet, all sourced from local farmers. Hospitality was wonderful too. The rooms aren’t especially big, but they’re clean, warm and quiet.
