Borgo tra gli Olivi

We were a family of four staying at Borgo tra gli Olivi, and it was one of our worst stays. With temperatures of 28-30°C, the pool was closed and we hadn’t been told. The WiFi didn’t work, and the host said she’d forgotten to mention it. The AC wasn’t set to cool, there were no fans, and the rooms were very hot. When we brought this up, the host got defensive. We chose to leave early and pay for one night only, but her husband aggressively demanded the full amount and told us to leave right away. He even told my wife to be out in five minutes while we were still eating the breakfast we’d paid for. We found another nearby place that was much better. There are far better options in Tuscany, so avoid this property. In response to the host’s lack of accountability and unapologetic comments: the booking platform listed “Set of swimming pool towels according to usage” and “Wireless internet connection Included” under extra services. If pool towels are included, it’s reasonable to assume the pool is open. Temperatures had reached 27°C two days before we arrived, so on sunny days like those the rooms would be hot at night. Other places had their AC working, which shows it was possible. I didn’t make up excuses to avoid paying for a second night. These are facts, and I actually had to book another night somewhere else.
