La Maestà

Waking up to that magnificent view each morning was a real pleasure. Our unit was quiet and spacious, and Rosalinda went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful time in this beautiful part of Italy.

We spent our days visiting a different town, each one full of history and culture. Rosalinda suggested places with our interests in mind, and being driven to and from each destination made it easy to learn about Italian life along the way. Back at La Maesta Agriturismo, the villa was comfortable, with a private en-suite, daily cleaning, and fresh towels. We woke to incredible views and homemade breakfast with eggs fresh from the farm. Olive trees surround the property, and the pool was just right for a dip during lazy sunny afternoons. You can fill your days or take it slowly. As a former travel agent, I knew what I was looking for. My partner and I, both 32, got the authentic Tuscan stay we wanted with Rosalinda and her family. It's charming and good value, and we really hope to return. Thanks to Rosalinda and the team.

We had a great time with our hosts, who were so amiable and went out of their way to make this one of our best travel experiences. One highlight was learning to make homemade gnocchi hands-on while nonna taught us, with plenty of laughter along the way. We spent seven nights at La Maestà, using it as a base to explore the well-preserved Etruscan and medieval hill towns nearby. Our place was spotless, roomy, and comfortable, with panoramic views, modern amenities, AC, a kitchen, a private ensuite, space for our things, and daily turn down service. Thanks to the Rosalinda family and Florentina for the hospitality. We can't wait to come back.

The daily outings to lovely hilltop towns were great fun, and the setting was gorgeous. My sisters and I chose La Maesta for a restful week after the busy pace of touring Italian cities, and it gave us that and more. Rosalinda and her family helped us feel welcome and relaxed the whole time, with friendly chats and delicious food. I especially appreciated Chef Alessandro making decadent dinners modified for my pescatarian diet. A perfect end to our Italian trip, grazie mille!
