Le Magnolie

We ended up feeling more than like family here. Adriana and Peppe live next door and are around whenever you need a hand, while still letting you enjoy the place in peace. Peppe especially loves sharing what he knows about the countryside he tends and the produce from his work, so do make time for a chat. The villa sleeps eight across two floors, with two bathrooms, a big garden, and a private pool. Kids have a little swing and a large trampoline. It’s a lovely base in a quiet spot, right in the middle of the Arezzo, Siena, and Perugia triangle. Those cities are easy to reach quickly, with little traffic, and several charming nearby villages are counted among Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages.

The owners were helpful and friendly. There’s a pool, barbecue, sunbathing area, trampoline, and swing outside, and the house itself has plenty of room. The kitchen, living room, and a bathroom are downstairs; upstairs are two bedrooms and another bathroom.

A lovely countryside setting, with green fields and hills all around. It’s a relaxing place to stay, and the hosts are kind, welcoming, and ready to help. Recommended.

A quick heads-up: you’ll be fairly cut off without a car. With one, this place is easy to recommend. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a pool right in front of the house, and the landlords are lovely. What else do you need?
